"Informative Tour"

We took the Soviet Bunker and battle museum tour. Rihards is a great tour guide, very knowledgable and personable. The only issue was the the English language bunker tour uses very large groups; of course this is down to the bunker staff not Discover Latvia. Rihards was very helpful, offered hotel pick up and tips about other things to do during our stay. Recommended.

"Fantastic day out, holiday highlight"

My father and I booked the Soviet secret bunker and WW2 battlefield museum. Our guide was Rihards, with whom we also arranged it in advance as he is the manager. Rihards was an exceptional guide, friendly and informative, telling us lots about things we could see on our journey and life in Latvia more generally, as well as showing us things we had not expected to see such as a ww2 air raid shelter bunker on the way back. The itinerary was great, the tour round the Soviet bunker was very exciting (for a Cold War historian), and then we went to the battlefield at More. The museum there was equally interesting, run by an older gentleman who told us a lot of interesting things about WW2 in Latvia, with Rihards translating for us. We also got to sit in a T-34 tank which was very cool before walking round some of the trenches and dugouts. It was a brilliant day, and so nice to see some of the Latvian countryside instead of just staying in Riga for the full holiday. Highly recommended for history enthusiasts

Our trip with Discover Latvia tours exceeded my expectations. The guys did a wonderful job on the tour, and even included a few destinations which we had not planned previously, giving extra value. The tour was very easygoing and informative. In short, if you are looking for a very pleasant, flexible and welcoming experience in Latvia, then this tour operator is highly recommended. Easily 5 stars. Thanks guys!
